This is my first drawing in awhile that i have been working on for the past day or so. Its a work in progress because I don't think it looks quite right. I need some opinions and feedback. After looking at it, i know the right eye(his left) has to be smaller, and i need work on the whiskers and some of the fur. I'm used to making animals with more textured fur, making it appear smooth and still like fur is hard for me. This is just being made as a practice before school starts again. Using mechanical pencil. Tell me what you think and help me out if you can. thanks.=]Info

| I really like how it's turning out. I don't know, I think the eyes look great. The only thing I could suggest would be for the fur. Make the highlights a little more pronounced, and thus making it look smoother...other then that, I absolutly love it! I like how not his entire face is shone, and the picture kind of fades, pretty awesome. |

| I think it's really great so far, especially if it's a mechanical pencil. If you go to an art store and buy an ebony pencil you can use the SIDE of the pencil to help make smoother textures. Also, work on varying shades of grey throughout (which I'm sure you'd have gotten to once the majority is finished ;]). OH, and by that I mean like...well, basically, exaggerate the values to be either REALLY light or REALLY dark in order to create nice contrast - that'll help it stick out more if placed among other drawings of the same type. :) Anyway, excellent work! *VOTE* |

| Just keep building up the layers of pencil to get the desired texture. That's the only advice I can really give. This is very good. |
