Carbon Star

Dust

Variant breeze yonder sculpted hills

Tie fate through particles, a quintessence of wonder

Float, hundreds, millions, spread through the air

Spent unseen, thought left willfully to the unknown

Insignificant and just as powerful, just as brilliant

What force will bring this together, to haze the air?

Of one to the cosmos and back once more

On what scale can you prove such a sentience in worth?

Life and death will not destroy, left untouched

To conquer which no other force can wield

Of dust and man many things can be said

With humility perhaps they are one the same
