Carbon Star |
Of Turquoise and Copper
Dust and crystal and remnants of copper
wind on the fire and ash in the air
hazes of memory dancing with out life
sparks of recollection burning the ground
Turquoise and footprints met in the sand
lightening on the path dancing with loss
weaving an arc through petrified glass
Fingers lightly graze it like soldered thoughts
Drums in the woods and in the distance
feathers cutting the spirits in their flight
hooves sprinting through trees and untainted air
the embrace and respect of the living and dead
Call them out with your chilling voice
through space like light searing a shadow
hold a torch to the blood and calming touch
an endless mournful wailing with reckoning power
