Alone
How can it be i feel so alone
when your right beside me
i feel chilled to the bone
I'm surrounded by many
but feel deserted and empty
no one can see me
no one knows the real me
can't get close enough to hold me
i run in fear of rejection
it's what i do for protection
keep everything inside
i hide to stay alive
how much longer
will i last on this ride
before i wither away and die
