Innocent Bystander to the Loss of...
+ 4
It feels like a Thursday

Innocent Bystander to the Loss of...

Utter his name and you cringe

Think of his face and you cry

Imagine his touch and you long for what you once had

Remember his voice and let the hole inside rip you apart

When he left he killed you inside

Made you feel unwanted

Forced to shut yourself from the real world

Never to be hurt by the likes of him again

But dont forget life is short, it's not meant to be wasted

Dont erase him from your mind, instead make him a mistake you learn from

Thank him for teaching you not to wear your heart on your sleeve

Thank him for showing you what real love can be

Thank him for letting you go

Thank him for being your first true love

Even if it hurts, keep him in your heart
