Hearts in heaven try to break
Listing over golden gates
Tuning microscopic keys
Thrashing demons to their knees.
Hearts in heaven try to break
Spinning diamonds fall to make
Ancient riddles, fallen stones
Endless days, heedless moans.
Hearts in heaven try to break
Planning ways that they can take
All the miracles life fulfills
Always wandering where it wills.
Hearts in heaven try to break
Secret answers on the slate
Broken dreams and fallen stars
Ending pain brings silver scars.
