One Last Never Ending

I lay here with no smile holding to my lips.
I lay in this room, looking through the window
wondering where you are in life. 
I lay here letting the minutes go by. Letting my life fly away.
Forget what I knew and remember what I want with you.
I close my eyes and smell your breath. 
I lay a hand on my lips and feel your kiss.
If tonight was that day i got to see you, I would make it last.
Tonight the stars are gone. The moon is up too high
for me to feel like starring. All I want is to see your face, to
feel your body pressed against mine. One more kiss, never ending. 
Make it last through the night. 
I lay here without a smile.
Looking through the window as thoughts of you go by. Letting
