Angels

the dark night had shrouded his soul
holding him bound to never feel whole.

he'd been wounded deep his tears were plenty
his heart was heavy and his eyes were empty

just at the edge of feeling lost
hes saved once again but at what cost

he can tell that hes happy and hopes that its true
he can change his ways and become a new

his mind starts to clear and he can finally think
he still doubts his charm cause his heart can still sink

but he stands up again and breathes in the air
he's glad that he's here, and he's glad she was there.

he looks to the sky, and he calmly sings
how he was saved, by the girl with wings.
