another 10-01-07

i could turn around and walk away
forget my tomorrows and go back to yesterday
but i choose to look forward
so my goals i start reaching for

i could stop right now and go back to how it used to be
i could choose to run from all these things haunting me
but i continue to go on and move ahead
i realize it's the only way my problems will rid

i try looking to the good but evil is so near
so i've gotta fight this battle holding no fear
i could stop in my tracks and just turn around
Instead i take another step forward & brace myself from falling down
