What I see

I look at you and I wonder what you see,

for I look at you, and all I see is me, looking back at me.

I'm so happy next to you, like moving in a dream,

and then I awaken, and nothing is what it seemed.

I so wish that you were mine,

but now, it seems, 'tis not my time.

And so... my heart it bleeds inside,

and in my dreams each night, I hold you... and each morn I cry.
