Endless Thoughts

My mind and my thoughts race on and on

About everything so bad in my past

The tears that emerge are dew drops of dawn

Scattered here and there; so endlessly vast

What appears outside is different than in

My emotions are wound in coiled knots

I feel no one is here to help me within

They don’t see, for they are blinded by plots

I come and help them whenever I can

Don’t they ever see my desperate needs?

I think this as my thoughts stretch like a fan

My sadness continues to grow like weeds

Some people don’t seem to notice the tears

Tears that glisten like shining shooting stars

My pain endlessly swells while shot by spears

Leaving permanent damage, just like scars

As I think these thoughts, I feel no one knows

What goes on in my mind… still feel alone

The shade in my soul is like soaring crows

Freely moving, like they have never flown

As I sleep and night starts to fade away

My strange thoughts slowly start to disappear

Still, they linger constantly, day by day

Some times hard to tell, but always so clear

Fact; I know things are not as they may seem
