A Long Way from Me

I'm nothing so I’m holding back for you.

I create my own path that shows me what to do.

I’m crying out stop me right now.

My last breath, my last vision can never take me to a place I want to go.

 But meanwhile my heartache is drowning me in sorrow.

The sound of careless people around me telling me what to do isn't helping.

Breaking down in front of people sometimes shows how weak you are.

To get the love and respect that you once lost is not easy.

Crying and dreaming doesn't mean you'll find your way home.

Kissing the hope that you still have inside doesn't change anything.

Sometimes you may be lost and confused. You see a chance and take it.

It's not always the right choice.

You know there's nothing holding you back from who you are.

 We laugh, we cry and we fall but at the end of the day we get up again all alone.

 If you cry in pity for so long then you'll realize there were no reasons to hold on.

Author’s note: I was so lost when I wrote this one. This is sometimes what happens in life, but eventually you’ll find your way out. (Without Suicide!!!)
