I just wanted to spend one day with you.
Whole or not.
No public places where we'd get distracted.
Just you and me in a quiet place.
Alone.
Akward silences included.
But when you and I make plans...
We always seem to situate ourselves
around public places
and familiar faces;
Third wheels
and triple fields.
Our paths aren't evern touching.
No connection
Because it seems we're always using
someone or something
as a shield and wall.
I want you to get to know me,
the real me.
No one standing inbetween.
Nothing to hold us back.
No one to interpret our same language.
I feel as if I am getting to know you
