Fireflies

He has green eyes.. like you do
And he showers in old spice.. like you use to.
And I know he loves me just as much as you did
But I don't understand why you're so hard to forget..

I sit outside.. on warm summer nights
Thinking back at us catching fireflies.
There really was no point.. but we tried to keep score
You said that I won.. even though you caught more
Now everytime I see a firefly..
I think about you.. && I just wanna cry..

He holds my hand.. && I think about you
I know it's wrong but it's the God honest truth
Sometimes I get frustrated && I don't know what to do
'Cause the things that he does reminds me of you!!
