Day After...
It's always the day after where you make your realizations
From days past, to days ahead, to the clouds moving showing new creation
As I stand here, may I stand here, don't mind me looking away in fascination
Cause you will see, and understand, how you're fitted to your destination
May problems fly by the minutes and hours, making life seem nothing more than negative connotation
Building up strife and stress in the mind, limiting your tolerance for the duration
Yet the increase in misfortune causes strength for the individual, surviving burning hell is the greatest sensation
Reaping what you have sown, doing wrong is a temptation
Temporary pleasure supposedly shouldn't have an explanation
It feels so good, but it's not right, am I cursed to damnation...
Or am I just learning another side to personal exploration
Where I've made mistakes, where I've lied, and made complications
I wish to make a correction, and take back those same indignations
Though what I've done is permanent and can't be recovered through wishes or accommodations
It bothers me that I had the nerve to let my head suffer from inflation
Those days are over and I'm living today with new found information
And it's always the day after...where you make your realization

| I think this is one of the most substantial poems on this site. It's very good. Very rythmic. You're good. |
