“Smile!”
The word I hear everyday
And minutes after the encounter
The grin still stays
I’m looking upward
To the sky
I know something good will come
If I take it one day at a time
“No pressure.”
I say smiling at you
Just believe
In the things you once knew
Search your soul
For the answer we both know
I saw it written on your face
In the manner of how your words to me flow
I’m smiling and I don’t know why
It’s wider than before
Because you know the real me
And I couldn’t ask for more
