I look at you |
Rain
Yesterday I looked outside the window
I saw you standing there by the Willow tree
your arms reaching towards the heavens
that crooked smile upon your face
you wave to me to come and join you
yelling come lets us be free
and
the rain came pouring down
you took me by the hand , led me though this town
we tumble to the ground, the wet, wet ground
laughter in the air, kisses on our faces
mud in our hair, we were in our own world there
when the rain came pouring down on us that day
Now here we are a half a world away
And the summer time, it just dosen't feel same
The fireworkers that lights the sky, have all but died in vain
and I can still see you there standing by that willow tree
with your hands up in the air, yelling to me
to come be with you there
and the rain came pouring down on us again
yeah we were in our own world there
and all the love we were feeling was with us again
and there was no more painful memories
and the only thing wet was the rain So we'll keep
praying for the rain and hoping it never stops
cause as long as there is rain then there is
the two of us
