Dream Girl

I dreamed of  girl feeling lost and alone

Her eyes were empty..her heart like stone

A darkness floated beside

Her pain and hurt thought of suicide

All the lies blinded her to see

Lost in her mind, forever they will be

She hits the wall as her knuckles tear

There was no pain, she did not care

She used to feel, hurt devoured her soul like a blaze

Now she feels nothing, all her hurt was a phase

Thoughts tickeled her mind of how life once was

She longed for the care of friends and loved ones

I sat and I pondered all of lifes fears

I lay abed, my eyes filled with tears

I opened my eyes, until then I did not see

All Along....That little girl was me.
