Somewhere amidst all the bliss,
There has to be something I miss.
Somewhere among all the love,
I must feel neglected and snubbed.
Because this can't be possible,
This can't be true.
Fairy tales are written for kids,
Not for me and you.
Somewhere in the middle of joy,
There must be a trait that annoys.
Somewhere beyond my delight,
There must be some symptom of blight.
Because this can't be possible,
This can't be true.

Somewhere amidst all the duds,
I found boy worthy of love,
and I've been in flight ever since....
Who knew I could still find a prince?
