Be Strong |
Be Strong
You sit in your room as music drowns out the sound;
The screaming and yelling, glass breaks on the ground.
Many would worry, many would fear;
Unfortunately for you, this is the daily thing to hear.
Your mother's unhappy, your step-dad's an ass;
But you sit back and watch, then clean up the glass.
You're stuck in the middle, there's no way out;
But you can't scream, no, you can't shout.
Back to your room to fight back the tears;
Hear more screaming, just plug up your ears.
Tonight the music will drown out the sounds,
Until tomorrow for another round.
