Then and Now
As I think to myself,
I wonder how all this started
What made my heart explore, waters uncharted
I ask myself
Over and over in my head
Why you didn’t fill my mind, but my heart instead
I swear I wasn't searching
Yet I happened to find
a feeling I can only explain, as one of a kind.
Why you and I?
Why the feeling of such?
Why was it my heart, that you touched?
I am not sure of the whys
That led us down this road
I guess it was something you and I were owed
I think of life before you
My life was depressing
Now I look at life, a know your love is a blessing
