My own Sacrifice(EVAN'S POEM)

Heart to heart,

eye to eye.

I'm left in this world

wishin' you were just another guy.

Tears smearin' my makeup

that I used to cover up the fact that I'm not alright,

Nothin' is okay because you aren't here tonight.

Breath after breath

I live through this reched day,

Reaching out for comfort that something will change and we will be okay.

Misory and guilt are laid beforth me

and I am wrapped in this bubble of pain.

Thinkin' back I know if this is how it would end

I would have never let you go.

I keep on goin' in my dispair,

Prayin' that life will somehow turn out fair.

I took the risk and took the chance,

but you walked away without a glance.

Loving in this life

is turnin' out to make me want to die.

Brken heart and torn out soul,

taking a razor and losin' control.

I poured out my heart,

poured out my soul,

You said you loved me,

but loving me was tough,

I think it was a lie

and my love jsut wasn't good enough.

So now instead of givin' you my heart

and lettin' you tear it apart(again),

I'll let this blade do it's work-

knowin' that it'll all be fine in the end,

Thanks to the torture and the lies

I am my own sacrifice.
