A Dream

You say you love me more than words can express,

It seems as if it should be just a dream,

You say you couldn't live a moment without my love,

It seems like something I would dream of,

Am I hoping for the best,

or is this relationship just some kind of test,

It seems too good to be true,

to find a guy like you,

I want to come back to reality,

and have this be more than just a dream,

I think I should just give up on love,

and then I remember that ife is full of suprises,

and I have to live with that,

as I wonder about my room,

I am only thinking of you,

my cell rings but I let it go to voicemail because I'm busy,

a little bit later I check the message and find that you are no longer mine,

Is any of this worth it I wonder as I grip the knife tighter,

I wish it was just a dream and that I will wake up and find that you are still mine,

Oh how I long for it to be just a dream.
