Was it right

I was sitting there,

thinking about what I had jsut said,

I knew it was the right thing,

but did he understand,

looking at the fire burning in his eyes,

I know his heart is breaking and slowly he will die,

It seems as if everything I do is wrong,

and his heart won't heal,

should I just move along,

I don't believe he took it so hard,

I thought I was just another girl,

But now I see I had the key to his heart,

life goes on,

that im sure of,

but should i stay stuck,

stuck on him,

or should i fall in love with someone else,

at least i should try,

god- I just can't hold on my feelings inside,

all I know is I can't go on living a lie.
