Never Alone

I see you in the mornings, with out a form to bare.

I see you in the shower, with your presence light as air.

I see you at the kitchen table, while I drink my morning tea.

I see you before I'm off to work and see you come with me.

You're there in the open seat staring at the sky.

You're there at my lunch break, as always, stopping by.

You're there telling stories of how the day went down.

You're there when I get home, though, you never make a sound.

We are together as I walk inside and pass the welcome mat.

We are together when I call your name, but no one answers back.

We are together as I start the fire and lighten up the mood.

We are together when cook my meals and when I eat the food.

You're never far when I clean my plate and put the dish away.

You're never far when night sets in and I say goodbye to day.

You're never far from my thoughts as I put myself to bed.

You're never far anytime, because your always in in my head.

And as I close my eyes to sleep, I'm happy though I'm alone.

I'm happy for the memories and all that you have shown.

You made me who I am today, much stronger it would seem.

You will always be here with me, If only in my dreams.
