You ignored all of my warnings,

Although careful at first,

You delve deeper into my mind,

Please beware of my curse. 

As you walk into the valley,

Through the shadows and the death,

The air, it reeks of sulphur,

The sky is stained blood red. 

The cries of the Wicked,

Their screams, are all in vain,

Still alone, they are enough,

To drive a man insane.

This barren Wasteland,

Though it is not so kind,

Must exist to protect me,

From the Creature inside my mind.

Off into the distance,

Though it is only a blur.

The Oasis awaits you,

With water and air so pure.

You can't stay here forever,

Though you wish you could.

The water, it is drying up,

we have eaten all the food.

You wish for us to carry on,

along our merry way,

Though you failed to realize.

There is no good this way.

I beg that we could turn around,

For I know not what comes next.

I dare not venture out this far,

Into the Creature's nest.

It is here,  that we must part,

Fare thee well, my good friend.

I wonder as I walk away

If I'll see you alive again.
