Something nearer to the truth

Please take your time to study hard

To read up on the world

Don’t blink an eye at civilised pride

And say everythings just great

Cause inside you know all is going wrong

Breaking down at a rapid rate

So grab at the proper truth for once

The one that always seems to humiliate

We all know the fact we choose to ignore

The deaths that never seem to stop

The murders and the suicides

We never seize we don’t evern try to end

The pollution grabbing at our throats

The guns ripping into our hearts and into our mind

The media telling us everything is going to be okay

While the main news story is draped with blood

Just “smile and nod” we are the  human clones

All so different but knocked down at the sam time

Suffering for every crime

But we’re still going

Still destroying

Still deploying

The rockets that mess up the world

Nuclear war heads aimed and ready

But they “promised” they weren’t gonna press the button

What are promises in a fucked up world

So take these lines and drink them in

So take our crimes and don’t let them win

This is just my word you don’t have to believe

But is the real truth so hard to conceive
