The dirt road leads forward

As far as I can see

Lined with trees with golden leaves

That fall off and fly free

 

Through mountains that scrape the sky

Over rivers crystal clear

I walk along this long dirt road

And throw away my fears

 

This world of mine so perfect

Where joyful breezes blow

Is the only place right now for me

As my real troubles grow

 

A blackness surrounds my perfect world

A cloud of evil, hate, and greed

But in here by the golden trees

I'm as happy as could be
