White Night Fantasy

Inspired by the Nightwish song of the same name...

 

I walk upon the moonlit snow

Toward the frozen lake below

Surrounded by a grove of trees

Like the moon itself it gleams

 

She is waiting there for me

The enchantress of this snowy dream

Dressed in white like the moon and snow

She instructs me, tells me where to go

 

I follow the path she told me to

Over hills of snow as a cold wind blew

It took me to a land of ice

A shining, gleaming paradise

 

There, among the frozen features

I met all the winter's creatures

Wolves and reindeer, Ice queens and bears

Santa, his elves, and a curious hare

 

Too good to be a winter dream

Too merry, too joyous, too real it seemed

All this it is my wish again to see

To relive this white night fantasy
