In this room, there lies this girl
All broken and alone
A razor to her wrist
Letting out a small moan.

She stares at the blood
Her heart torn
At times she wishes
She were never born.

As the life drains, she wonders
How could you do this to me?
Thinking back on the memories
Just how much in love we used to be.

With the slightest bit of an idea
She takes a finger and dips it into the puddle of blood.
Writing on the wall; do you love me now?
Her tears becoming a flood.

Her phone rings
Playing their song
She shakes her head
This is where I belong.

Slowly slipping
Into the darkness ahead

Was what she last said.

Her boyfriend driving
The roads are wet
He recalls on what happened
When they last met.

He was kissing another girl
She walked in
Gazing upon the sight saying
Just how long has it been?

Making up lies he told her
He had simply lost his place
That he had
Fallen from his grace

Driving to her home
To make things right
He would never forgive himself
If anything happened to her that night.

Arriving there; jumping out of the car
Shouting and yelling calling her name
Racing into the room; his eyes feasting upon a sight
Tears were falling and his head was hung in shame.

Picking up the razor; holding it to his wrist
With a slow cutting motion
Everything becomes a mist

Glancing at what was written on the wall
Taking his own blood; death letting out its laugh
Scrawling next to her words
"Sweetie, I always have."
