Forever Dreaming

It is not the coldest wind nor the shattering of a soul
That makes us tired
Or the loss of one we love
It is our dreams
The deepest desires
We scarcely know are there
These dreams we live by
In a state of utter delusion
And bliss
Because
When we lose
Whether it be something
Or someone that is lost
The dreams
They are what leaves
Leaving a shadow of missed chance
Of happiness gone
A love broken
Dreams
They come
In the night
Leaving reality for the mourning
And mourn it does
So
Just close your eyes
And dream
Wish the night would never cease
Dreams
Can you feel yours breaking?
