If I was a Mermaid

If I was a mermaid I’d live under the big blue sea,

I’d be friends with all the fishes and they’d all be in love with me.

I’d have a shiny tail to take me where I want to go,

I could swim among the corals and wave to everyone I know.

My hair would float around me feeling and looking beautiful,

everyday would be perfect and not a moment dull.

The dolphins would come over, to play hide and seek,

I’d close my eyes as they hid and try not to peek.

The sea grass would be a perfect place when I needed to rest,

yes I think being a mermaid would be the very best!
