Don't Forget the Good Times
A forgotten moment whispers of earnest hope
Murmurs of tears down an ever increasing slope
Don’t shove the polished smiles out of your mind
Savor the cheer that is slipping farther behind
Exalted bliss screams forcefully to be recollected
After being thrown behind, abandoned and neglected
Replaced by all the grieving tears and agonizing pain
Invading the feeble memories of the entire domain
Remember the beaming joy, Recall the delight
The shinning charm out of the horrors of night
Those are what matter, significantly vital for breath
From the enchantment of birth to the inevitable death
