Why did I let myself fall hard for you?

Why didn't I tell myself it was something I shouldn't do?

I should have known it would end up being just like this

You say that we're best friends but I long to feel your kiss

I simply want something that will never be

I should have been so silly, as to think I had a chance

To think that you would give me another glance
