Losing All I Am

How come the can't open their eyes to the light?

Why do they continue to fall down blind?

Stabbing me with their swords of rejection,

killing me with their vile infection.

Trying to run with their eyes tightly closed,

giving only their worst like i won't know.

I fight my way through their hate with a passion,

pushing through it until they break and bend.

Losing every trace of my emotion,

as i collapse into this tomb i have opened.

Plastic like all of these faces that surround me,

Shamefully i become one of them as i lose my identity....
