falling up

i claim sight yet i refuse to see so i crawl through the dark with the light in my pocket. my eyes are sewn shut so i stumble through life with my heart encavessed by shadow,all the while i quench the fire in my soul. i fear the darkness instead of embracing the light. take this nothingness from me.i've sat in the dark idlely for too long.im not the same person i was before i met you. you helped me find the stranger inside of me. im sick of staring into dead eys,eyes that look but dont see. i want something no one can take from me,a light that wont burn out.im tired of sight without any sense of feeling.help me open up my useless eyes...
