Visions on repeat

These visions of her, stuck on display.
Her voice, the soundtrack, repeating themselves constantly
I hold a wish to press 'Stop' & put these memories down
but I can't, her thoughts make themselves welcome upon my home.
Like a crazy-stained mattress unable to be washed.
& no matter how hard I try,
no matter the remaining nights,
no matter how much strength I've exhausted,
no matter the other eye beside me,
these visions of her stuck on display.
I just wish, to her, I was the visions that did not fade
