Howling Secrets (werewolf)

Day turns into night,

The full moonlight glow shines upon the world,

Along the shadows thieves rush about,

My other half bursts through me,

Hair covering every inch of my body,

Ultra-white fangs hissing in my mouth,

Transformation complete,

Roaming the world on all fours,

People screaming and running,

The wind squealing,

Reaching my destination I arch my body up and stick my muzzle straight in the air and howl,

Echoing through the wooden elms,

Mossy marshes,

Sparkling waters,

And cozy homes,

Listen closely and you will hear my past, present, and future,

My life, thoughts, and secrets can no longer be kept as a mystery,

I do not want your help, sympathy, or sorrow, all I want is for you to listen,

The truth will be told and the puzzle solved,

I am no monster,

I am no animal,

I am no mythical fairytale,

I am me, and I cannot escape that, nor can you,

Do not run or shy away from me, I mean no harm,

I am one of the many humble creatures that live among you,

I am not alone,

As time goes by my howl begins to fade,

I have told you the truth through my eerie song and all I can do know is hope that you understand,

I will leave you be...
