Fallen Angels
I watched as the grief overtook you
And the smile disappeared from your face.
The tears from from your eyes
And the angels fell from grace.
Your kindness fled the scene
And the light dimmed in your eyes
And when the fallen angels saw this
They most surely died.
The angels believed
You were too great for tears
And when they hit the ground
They met their biggest fear.
For when the tears fell freely from your eyes
A thousand more angels fell freely from the sky.
