Last Words
Last Words
Walking up the stairs
heading to my death
I wonder if she’s there
to watch my last breath
the executer motions to me
to walk up to the noose
I want to yell out to my darling
Hell, what do I have to loose?
Then I hear her voice!
Screaming,”I love you!”
Is that really my sweetheart?
I pray that it is true
If only I could hold her
Just one last time
the noose is around my neck
I know I’m going to die
Then I see her in the crowd
waving frantically, screaming “I love you!”
Before I loose my last breath
I scream back,”Honey, I love you...”
