ahh the freshness of a new life

everything is now good

a brand new start

knock on wood

so where does this leave me now?

what is it I'm meant to do

after quitting a heavy addiction

there must be some clue

but what shall it be?

something life wants me for

perhaps to save lives

perhaps for something more

but for now I'm keeping my wrist clean

clean from those nasty marks

Life isn't as bad as I thought

I'm no longer a fish with sharks

I'm stronger, and more alive

then I have ever been

where was this earlier?

before I committed such a sin

I guess we all have our times

where we are scared to wake

but I have waited my turn

now life is a piece of cake
