Diet sodas are loaded with aspartame, an artificial sweetener, which is a carcinogen. It's in most diet products that boast they don't have sugar and in 90% of traditional chewing gum. It's a recipe for cancer. It’s also cheaper to use and 170 times sweeter than sugar so there are tons of products containing it. Trying to compare sugar and calories with carcinogenic substances doesn't work. I'd much rather drink gallons of regular soda.
I mostly drink either orange juice or water. On the weekends I'll have a couple beers while out with friends (or myself). If I'm out to eat, I might get a Sprite. But that's about it.
The only soda I really drink anymore is Sprite. Diet Sprite is nasty. I used to have some orange soda, but I stopped that a while back. I rarely have any cola, maybe a couple times a year at most... either Pepsi or Polar.
WHAT? yes there are people that are addicted to Diet sodas!! and not to be healthy just because they like it! its gross! i'd rather drink water.
my fav. soda is dr.pepper and I drank the diet version and it was GROSS! it tasted like someone got regular dr. pepper and swished it in they're mouths then spits it back in the can lol
My best friend... he has a problem. He only drinks Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, everything in between. Actually... him and his father both do that.
The only other thing I've ever seen him drink besides soda is beer.
yes the soda MAY HAVE LESS sugar or what not its the synthetic chemicals they are using it to try to make it taste normal. yes it was really hard but i managed four days lol and just eating THAT LESS makes you (well me anyways) more hungry than not eating. I don't really eat much becaus i'm not that active untill i start classes i HAVE to eat because i get really weak and tired and can't consentrate. but now i don't eat that much like all i had today was a regualr bowl of macoroni thats it! i drink lots of juices and waters.
