Why do we love those who hurt us the most???

It seems like every time my heart has almost healed, it gets ripped to shreds again... typically by the person who helped heal it in the first place. WHY IS THIS???

Thanks. I appreciate that. I'm just puzzled by the fact that it seems to be those that you truly love that hurt you the most. Maybe it's because we let them in more, and we're not expecting to get hurt... so when we do, it's just that much more painful. I've got so many emotions going on right now... pain, anger, sadness, confusion. And I'm crying, which I'm beginning to do a lot these days, and I hate that.

It's WAY complicated... and as much as I would like to vent right now, it's just not worth the effort. Basically, I'm talking about 2 people... my mom and an ex. I'm SO frustrated and fed up!
