Just... ugh
I'm beginning to sound like a cave woman, saying 'ugh' all the time, but I do it with good reason.
The dating department has been screwing with my life lately. So, the other day my friend sent me a message saying that she heard that a guy was interested in me.
The thing is... I've been talking to this one guy and he's random and dorky like me, and I'm beginning to like him. But the thing is, my friends are trying to set him up with one of my other friends.
So, about a month ago I had a bonfire and he came along with one of his friends. So, as I went on a walk with my friend on Tuesday night I brought up my friend sending me that message. And then like later on in our conversation, she just randomly asks how my parents would feel about me dating a black guy. Now my dad, he isn't too keen on blacks, but my mom wouldn't care. Normally I wouldn't give this a second thought, but the guy's friend who he brought with him was black. He's an awesome guy, but as of right now i'm not interested in him that way. And he's been talking to me a bit and keeps asking me to hang out.
So, I don't know whether I should try and give him a chance even though right now i really doubt it would work, or should i do something else? I'm just really confuzzled...
