First day for Freshman.. is it that bad?!

What is up with people saying that the first day is really bad for freshman.. is that true?Cause I'm going to be a freshman and I am really nervous..Help?!

I've seen it a lot. Not to the average freshmen, but to the ones who think they are cool. When they start shit with an upperclassmen they don't stand a chance.

in high school when I was a freshman not that bad but when me and my friends were seniors some freshmans got hell from other kids but I would think it would depend on the school and how popular u are make friends with a few seniors

At my school you will get pushed if you get in someone's way and maybe even stuck upside down in the trashcan if you try talking shit to one of the upperclassmen.
It's not that bad though.

The school across town is horrible though. It's not the first day it's the whole first year, and it's way worse. "
