Marriage, why does it fail?

So I wondering why most ppl think marriage fails. Not all marriage fails but there is a lot of divorce here in the US, why is that? Is it because people rush into it? Is it because divorce is an easy way out? Is it because ppl are scandalous and marry for money? What do you guys think?

Marriage fails because each partner is looking out for self above each other. If marriage is working as it was designed to do, the husband looks after the wife's needs and she responds by looking after his. That is harmony. If each goes his and her own way in a misguided attempt to secure one's one self-interest, there is clashing and dischord.

Love bears all things, believes all things, love never seeks its own. That is the paraphrase, but it is wisdom for the ages. Betrayed love is a nasty, obscene thing. Love, the greatest power of all, must be handled rightly or it scars and destroys instead of giving life.

it fails because we all want everything and when we can get it from the one we married then we start look to other ppl to make us happy so in the end ppl cheat and then they fail

I think that people get married before theyre fully ready. Thats why it fails. And i never said anything about you touching yourself.

Actually, oddly enough even in nature the male and female usually only stay together long enough to have the child. Then the male will tend to go looking for another mate, or the female will get rid of him so she can raise the offspring the way she sees fit. Sometimes it happens with humans; sometimes it doesn't.
