Good phones and mp3 players?
My purse was stolen yesterday along with all its contents and I need to replace the items that were lost. I had a pebl phone and an 8gb walkman that is no longer manufactured. Can anyone recommend something comparable to both? The phone has to be T-Mobile compatible or whatnot. I'm just not electronically savvy. I'd like to stay under $150 for the mp3, and don't need all the bells and whistles for the phone.
So in a short fashion, what do you own and do you like it? Or is there something to stay away from?

I lost my two debt cards, my credit cards, my medical ID, driver's license, school ID, Dog therapy training papers and permit, the above mentioned cell phone and player, around $50 in cash, and a 70 yr old bracelet. So I'm out around $260 in total. But it could have been worse. The last item is the only one that cannot be replaced.
I've had a few mp3 players of that value, the walkman was the only thing that lasted as long as it did. Everything else has died (being dropped in water does not help). So the standard was based on that empirical evidence, although the validity of this assumption should not pass scrutiny.
