Maybe someone could help me out...

I'm a tennis player. I've been playing now for four years and I've come to really love the game. I play for my high school team, but I've never learned how to play add-on.

Can anyone explain that to me?

no you don't switch at all (like you would in a tie break)

If it's your service, uhmm it's hard to explain so i'll give an example

It's my serve, the score is deuce. I score the next point. (now it's ad-in)

If i score the next point i win, if i loose the next point it goes back to deuce. If i loose the next point it goes into ad-out.

Now, if they score the next point they win. If you win the point, it goed back to deuce.

Get what i'm sayin?

oh so there's just like an extra point if you don't make the serve?? does the opponent serve after that? is anything like a tie breaker?

okay, well when you get to deuce (40-40)

If it's your serve, and you score the point, it's add in.
If you loose the point, it's add out. and the next point wins the set.
