Important Upcomming Contest Info For Real Singers!
by the way im giving credit to ErickaGere for unkowingly inspiring this contest.
Please read this in entirety.
This contest if only for those who truly believe in their singing capacity. for I am going to ask those who will participate to really challenge themselves.
Starting likely Sunday I shall Post a song with the lyrics. Those who have the confidence in their abilities will be ask to sing this song. You do not need to sing it in whole but i'd like a solid minute at least.
The key difference is that the song is not in english. however the words are not hard to learn and there are no tricky pronunciations. What you as a singer and lover of music will need to do is listen to the song. I mean really listen for though its not in english it is full of emotion.
For years i've listened to music from around the world. I have found the best artists/singers are able to convey the emotion of the song regardless of language. this is done in part do the music but is strongly enforced by the artist themselves feeling and truly believing in themselves and can put in as much emotion as needed.
You wont find out the song until i post it at the beginning of the contest which will last between a week and 2 weeks. I believe that would give most of u enough time to absorb the music
The winner will be the individual who can imbue the most emotion into their version of the song. I will be posting my snapvine so people can submit their song that way. If you are really good and believe in urself then u can make people feel something from ur voice. regardles of not knowing the words.
TRANSLATE THE EMOTIONS THAT U FEEL FROM THE SONG
RULES:
if u submit a song dont have the actual song playing low volume in the background. Unless u somehow find and instrumental version and u have it so ur voice and the music are on equal volume.. other than that ill just want ur voice.
If u have doubts. keep in mind the one singing doesnt speak that language either. when i post u will see how she fared.

P.S. Sometime when people sing others songs they try to match the pitch and vocal range...if ur alto dont sing soprano...if ur good u can sing the song beautifully in ur vocal range..again ull see what challenge ull have once the song is posted
