15 & tumor

I recently found out that the lump on my leg i've had for about 2 years is a tumor. It increases in size when putting too much pressure by running or sports or anything exerting. Its under the muscle and not on the bone thank God. I am going for an MRI in few days to see what kind I have. Pray for me, and my mom too... She has a breast lump and white blood cells too high...

I'm going to ignore that considering that you may be over emotional right now, but if you read through my posts, I never said a negative word about you, yet offered my good wishes every time. I am simply cautious by nature about offering my sympathies to people who advertise their problems online. That is something you'll have to accept.

Now again, I offer you my good wishes, and at no point have I criticized your post, I merely explained my reasons for being cautious due to my not being able to understand an action I would not take.

Eh, it might not surprise me then, but it's still not something I get. And I also have no idea who this chick is, so there's not a whole lot of foundation there. I don't spend my hours chatting up every chick on this site for a cheap thrill like some do, I only pay attention to people who prove they have worth, or are too irritating to ignore.

I can completely see where you are coming from.
It is difficult to see reasoning behind anothers actions if they are completely against what you would do.
It Is sometimes easier to talk about somethings with people you may not neccesarily know.
And/or she may be looking for someone who has already taken a stroll in her shoes.
By no means am I attempting to portray this as scolding because I understand what you mean.

Yeah, it's nothing against her, and I'm definitely not saying she's wrong for doing it. If she's going through this then she's entitled to seek support wherever she decides to. It's just impossible for me to understand a decision I have not made in the past, and would not make in the future. It is impossible for someone to understand something that is diametrically opposed to their nature. But she has respected people to vouch for the validity of this story, so again I wish her luck.

That sure is a lot on your plate at 15. They are trying to make you grow up quick... I had my first MRI when I was 15. Its a breeze!!! I get worked up because I hate small spaces. They don't have them pressed against the wall like they did 5 yrs ago. Ill be praying. Keep your chin up!!!

I posted a thread similar once about my mother possibly having cancer and some stuff that had happened but I post thinking that mostly friends i have here would enter it. However most people did think i was making it up except for some friends, haha.

That's fine, and I really do wish her the best. It's just my own hangup of not being able to understand someone coming here and posting their intimate personal problems to little more than strangers. It automatically makes me think of just another person seeking attention. Talking to your friends on here about it I get, but I won't be able to help thinking what I do when I see posts like this.

Good luck dear thats a lot to handle.I hope you guys are ok.I'll tell you this the MRI isnt that bad.All it will feel like is a major muscle cramp and then your leg might be numb for a few hours after.
